What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They allow the site to remember your preferences and session across page loads.

DarzioTech uses a minimal, privacy-first approach to cookies — we only set cookies that are strictly necessary for the Platform to function correctly.

Cookies We Set

Below is a complete list of cookies set by DarzioTech. We do not use any third-party advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies.

  • auth_token — Keeps you logged in during your session (expires on logout or after 7 days)
  • theme — Stores your light/dark mode preference (persistent, never expires)
  • lang — Stores your selected language preference (persistent, never expires)
  • csrf_token — Protects form submissions from cross-site request forgery (session only)

Essential vs. Optional Cookies

All cookies listed above are strictly essential — the Platform cannot function correctly without them. There are no optional, analytics, or marketing cookies on DarzioTech.

Because we only use essential cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner under current Indian DPDP Act 2023 guidelines. All cookies are functional and serve no commercial or tracking purpose.

Local Storage & Session Storage

In addition to cookies, DarzioTech uses browser Local Storage to cache your profile preferences, sidebar state, and recent search terms for a faster experience. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

  • user_prefs — Cached UI preferences (sidebar collapsed, column visibility)
  • recent_searches — Last 5 search terms for quick re-access
  • draft_order — Auto-saved draft order to prevent data loss on refresh

Managing Cookies

You can view and delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Clearing cookies will log you out of DarzioTech and reset your theme and language preferences.

Most modern browsers allow you to block cookies entirely. If you block essential cookies, certain features of DarzioTech will not function correctly.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or change our practices. We will notify users via email and update the 'Last Updated' date above at least 14 days before any changes take effect.
